HOCHHUTH GmbH was founded in 1998 in cooperation with InfraServ Wiesbaden, the new operating company of the industrial park Kalle-Albert (formerly Hoechst AG ) in Wiesbaden.

Managing director is Dipl.-Ing. Peter Hochhuth (CI, SFI & EWI).

Under project management by HOCHHUTH, the ready-to-use and practice-oriented energy management system ENERGY IN INDUSTRY® was developed for these reasons. This system was used for the first time at Hoechst AG. Achieved cost savings in the millions made headlines in the press.

The nationwide market launch took place from 1998.

The system for online remote meter reading, which is based on the Europe-wide standardized M-Bus, has been successfully used to date approx. 500 times in well-known companies of different sizes and industries. In addition to M-Bus technology, our energy management system can also be used to connect other bus systems, such as Modbus or KNX bus, as well as existing process control systems (e.g. Siemens Simatic PCS7), building control systems or production data acquisition systems via data links.

Experience shows that repayment periods are between 1 and 2 years.

Benefit from our experience as a system provider, system operator and industrial energy supplier. Your questions “beyond the scope of a system” have mostly already been experienced and solved by us and our long-standing customers.

At our company headquarters in the Kalle-Albert industrial park, 1,900 energy meters are now logged online and automatically monitored in a cost-efficient manner. As the largest M-Bus application in Europe, this system is also our development platform for future-oriented technological steps in energy management.

The close cooperation with our customers ensures permanent further development under the maxim “From practice for practice”.

In addition, we are your competent contact for pipe-based energies and electricity in the industrial sector. We advise you on the selection of suitable metering equipment and measuring methods (e.g. for steam, compressed air, water, electricity) in energy networks as well as on the optimization of your energy generation plants.
